Plan-aligned does not mean impersonal.

NDIS psychology at Blackbird is designed to connect funded goals with meaningful day-to-day outcomes. Support may focus on emotional regulation, communication, routines, relationships, self-advocacy and participation.

We work collaboratively with participants and, when appropriate and consented to, with families, support coordinators and other providers.

Support may include
  • Capacity building and emotional regulation
  • Executive function and daily-life skills
  • Identity, self-advocacy and social connection
  • Progress summaries and plan-review reporting
Person-led

Your priorities guide the work.

Goals are translated into a therapy plan that makes sense in the context of your life, capacity and communication style.

Practical

Skills that transfer.

Sessions focus on strategies that can be practised and adapted outside the therapy room.

Collaborative

Connected support.

With consent, your psychologist can communicate with relevant people in your support network.

Before you book

Step 01

Send an enquiry

Step 02

Check fit & funding

Reception confirms clinician availability, suitability and whether the funding arrangement can be accepted.

Step 03

Plan the support

The psychologist works with the participant to define goals, session approach and review points.

Questions

NDIS enquiries are reviewed individually.

Which plan-management types do you accept?

Funding arrangements can change and may depend on the service requested. Contact reception with your plan-management details so the clinic can confirm the current options before booking.

Do you provide reports?

Where clinically appropriate and agreed in advance, progress summaries or reports may be prepared for plan reviews or care coordination. Scope, timing and fees should be confirmed with reception.

Is telehealth available?

Yes, many psychology appointments are available by telehealth Australia-wide, subject to clinician availability and suitability.

Tell us what support you are looking for.

Include goals, plan-management type and any preferences so reception can respond with the clearest next step.
