Our assessment process is designed to be thorough, transparent and validating. We use national guidelines, clinical interviews and recognised tools while considering masking, context and the whole person — not only a checklist.
Visit our Parramatta clinic in Sydney or access assessment by telehealth video Australia-wide, subject to clinical suitability. We support adults exploring a possible late autism diagnosis, including people who have spent years masking their experiences.

Step 01
Initial consultation
Discuss your reasons for assessment, history and whether a full assessment pathway is likely to be useful.
Step 02
Full assessment
Clinical interview, functional assessment and relevant tools. Autism assessment uses a modified ADOS-2 approach; ADHD tools include the DIVA-5.
Step 03
Report & feedback
Receive a comprehensive report, feedback appointment and recommendations relevant to the diagnostic outcome.

The initial consultation is paid first. If you proceed, the remaining full-assessment fee depends on the selected pathway.

Depending on the outcome and your circumstances, reports may support conversations with health providers or applications involving NDIS, Centrelink or other services.

- Cognitive testing is not included
- For ages 6–17, see our child & teen assessments
- Standalone ADHD assessment is not currently offered
- The clinic cannot prescribe ADHD medication

Where can I have an autism assessment in Sydney?
Our clinic is at Suite 404b, Level 4, 20–22 Macquarie Street, Parramatta NSW 2150. Adult assessments are available in person and by telehealth, subject to clinical suitability. Contact our team about assessment appointments.
Who will carry out my assessment?
Our team includes psychologists with experience in adult autism and high-masking presentations. Meet our assessment psychologists, or contact reception to discuss the appropriate clinician and current availability.
What does an adult autism assessment include?
The pathway starts with an initial consultation. If you proceed, it includes clinical interviews and relevant assessment tools, a comprehensive report, and a feedback appointment with recommendations relevant to the outcome. The fees for autism and combined Autism + ADHD assessment are listed above.
What if I am unsure which assessment I need?
The initial consultation is the place to discuss this. Autism and ADHD screening information can be considered before you commit to a full pathway.
Can assessment be completed online?
Yes. Adult assessment can be provided by telehealth video Australia-wide, subject to clinical suitability.
Does assessment guarantee a diagnosis?
No. Assessment explores whether available information and recognised criteria support a diagnosis. Your psychologist will explain the outcome and recommendations clearly.
